Qatar National Music Competition
The first edition of Qatar National Music Competition (QNMC), held at Katara Drama Theatre in October 2017, brought numerous accolades to ICM Qatar. Our students brought home nine prizes, including a first place, and two special jury award diplomas. We believe that the appreciation received at QNMC is a result of the hard work, diligence and above all the passion for music of our students and teachers.
Moving Young Artists (MYA) believes that music participation is an essential element in the fabric of an enduring society. Out of the desire to inspire a deep love and knowledge of music with the Qatari community, MYA kickstarted the first Qatar National Music Competition to promote the transformative powers of music, the value of creativity through playing music, and an appreciation of cultural diversity.
